The Geeklog Demo Site, kindly hosted by Michael "Ironmax" Brusletten, will be unavailable from November 16-19 while Michael is moving house. At least that's the plan - please don't panic should it take a little longer. The demo site will be back ...
Update 2008-11-20: It's back. Thanks, Michael!

11/20/08 13:04 PMThe two plugins complement each other.
BB stops some spambots before they even
get a chance to post, but Spam-X catches
those that get through - including
humans trying to spam (we had a few of
the latter here on geeklog.net over the
last couple of days).

11/20/08 11:13 AMI suggest you don't use it unless you're
a php developer, I've had lots of cookie
problems etcetera. Perhaps Magento might
do better, there is a Wordpress
integration for Magento, so perhaps
there's a way to make a Geeklog
integration as well.

11/19/08 15:22 PMWhat you see on the front page is just a
[faq:12 normal block] with some HTML in
it - the links are hard-coded. You can
view the site's HTML code and just
copy&paste that into a block on your
site (oh, and please "steal" the icon
instead of linking to us).

For those of you who using Geeklog in corporate environments you may have have run into the situation where you want to migrate a site based on Geeklog 1.5 from, say, your development environment to your test environment (or from server A to server B). Currently this isn't supported with 1.5 and it was the focus of one of the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) projects. For those of you who simply can't wait for the results of the GSoC to be published I've created a very simple script that allows you to do such migrations.
How it works is simple.
